Introduction: Silent somatotroph pituitary adenomas are defined as pituitary adenomas with positive immunostaining for GH without signs of clinical or biochemical acromegaly. Silent somatotroph adenomas are rare and diagnosis is made post-operatively. Almost two-thirds are mixed GH-prolactin tumors.
